Filing Fees Increase:

Filing fees are now higher and they are the same statewide (Amends Code of Civil Procedure 116.240, 116.610 & 116.940).

The filling fees to sue in Small Claims Court increased, and are now the same statewide. This chart shows the old and new fees:
